Portrait of Julian Larson
Julian Larson

Boozhoo (hello)! My name is Julian Larson. My spirit name is Niibawi-Anaakwad (Highest Standing Cloud). I am from the Waswaaganing Indian Village in Lac Du Flambeau, Wisconsin, and 1st-degree Miidewin of the Three Fires Miidewin Medicine Lodge.

After graduating in 2016 from Northcentral Technical College with a degree in Information Technology, I found big tech fascinating in so many ways. After NTC, my journey led me west to Arizona State University, where I continued my Entrepreneurship education. With those two educations, I began enjoying the creative process of capturing moments through a camera lens to re-live these precious times later in life.

Additional roles: Filmer, Editor, Producer, Photography

Drone Operator

Amanda Ochs

My path into the world of photo and video has been unconventional. I started off learning to edit in Photoshop during architecture school. I then fell in love with photography when I landed a part-time job in a photography gallery during college. It was extremely rewarding to learn and create. A few years later, I was tasked to fly the company drone at my workplace to document our construction projects. I was hooked; a completely new way to look at the world around me.

Shortly after this introduction, I purchased my drone and improved my skills. The drone was an exciting new tool that I could combine with my interest in photography and video editing into a creative outlet. Coming from an architectural background, I saw how useful the drone could be for my industry and beyond. This thought ultimately led me to get my commercial drone license and start taking on client work.

Lead Editor

Lukas Newcomb

My name is Lukas Newcomb, born and raised in California. From a young age I loved to play around with free editing software such as Gimp and Microsoft Paint, making horrid edits on pictures taken on my parents’ Cingular phone. I have spent many years in the media industry, starting in 2012 with an introduction to photoshop. Through the years, I started applying myself in the news industry spending a few years as the layout designer for the college newspaper, eventually working my way in the industry to video editor for two major award-winning news stations in Central California. Additionally, I do freelance photography and graphic design for a variety of different clients; from realtors to universities. My goal in media is to expand my understanding and connection with the world and tell a story from in front and behind the lens.
